THE 12 APOSTLES.

The famous 12 Apostles are situated 275 kilometers west of Melbourne, which is about a four-hour drive via the Great Ocean Road. These magnificent rock stacks rise majestically from the Southern Ocean, showcasing the rugged splendor of Victoria's dramatic coastline. They were formed by the constant erosion of the limestone cliffs of the mainland, which began around 10 to 20 million years ago. The stormy Southern Ocean and strong winds have gradually eroded the softer limestone, creating caves in the cliffs.

Penguin Island

THE PHILIP ISLAND.

The surreal spectacle of adorable little penguins returning to their burrows after a day of wandering the ocean will leave you amazed. This enchanting Penguin Parade occurs every night at Philip Island, home to one of Australia's most extensive penguin colonies and located approximately 1.5 hours away from Melbourne.
